Were traveling through and found this sweet spot! Excellent food, personable staff, very good and unique sauces! I had beans and rice with potato salad instead of meat! Yum! Husband had Mac and cheese with pulled pork and enjoyed every bite adding some of the root beer bbq sauce! Wish I lived closer to be there for the live music and night vibe!

Pulled pork soft tacos (3 of them) with a spicy Mac n cheese and crunchy apple cider vinegar / very light mayo slaw. I am from San Francisco and seek out cool BBQ when traveling. Nicest quick lunch I have had in a long time. Mark, the owner, makes everything from scratch including his own dried chili’s for seasoning. Great flavor chemistry ratios (savory / spicy / lightly sweet). Mark gets it. Easy off I-10 and parking area too. I have star’d this in google maps to hopefully stop again someday. Just great. January 2022 update: stopped again. Great spicy Mac n cheese topped with rib meat. Crazy good. Thanks Mark!

Stopped by mid-day on a Tuesday and was the only one, which surprised me because my pulled pork sandwich and potato salad were excellent! I knew I liked the area 51 sauce from a previous experience but I also tried the rootbeer one, which is good if you enjoy sweeter sauces. It was just under 10 bucks and honestly, any lunch in town is going to cost you this much. Mine was tasty and filling. ETA: took my kids and ate in so I wanted to share the experience. Two kids had pulled pork sandwiches which they said were awesome. My oldest, a self-proclaimed sauce connoisseur, said the root beer one is the best. My brisket tacos were A and as you can see in the photo (when I reheated one later) they put a lot in there! Indoor/outdoor space is comfy and was not hot or uncomfortable. I enjoyed that they have a variety of local beers on tap and lots to look at! Glad we went back.

So we stopped by this place on the way back from vacation after the first BBQ place was closed and we already had BBQ on the brain. I'm so glad we did. Bartender was hilarious and they offered samples to my friend to let her figure out which beers she wanted to buy. We ordered across the menu and tasted off of each other's plates. We ordered ribs, brisket, pulled pork and much to my happiness shredded rib meat along with a few sides. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the baked beans which weren't cooked all the way yet and the beans were still crunchy but it was still early and at least I know they don't use canned beans and the sauce was still really good so Every sauce I tried was completely different and all really good. The green area 51 sauce was definitely unique but not hot like I expected it to be. I am very happy to have tried this place, crunchy beans and all! Sorry that all the pics are of the restaurant and not the food. We were hungry and smashed it all before I thought about it

First time here. Walked into a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Black beans and rice were delicious. The Bloody Mary Charlotte made is most definitely worth going back to this establishment again. How could you not love a place that offers to take a picture of the menu because I did not have my glasses and come back with this picture. Thank you Charlotte.

A hidden gem. Great place for craft beer and BBQ. Ribs are fcfs for the day so keep that in mind! The sauces were all impressive and delicious. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

If you're looking for dining outside the box The Red Shed is the place to go! It has the convenience of a food court with all the comforts of a backyard Barbecue. The food is excellent and the fun & friendly staff is eager to please. We've been loyal customers for almost three years and consider them our home away from home. The ribs and brisket will melt in your mouth! And their sweet wings are second to none! They often serve unique new specials and play host to many local charity events that you can follow on their facebook page. They offer great carry-out deals for parties, game days, etc. It's the perfect place for gathering with family, friends or groups. On weekends you can enjoy relaxing & listening to a variety of local musicians. Just bring some lawn chairs, coolers (it's BYOB) or just drop your tailgate. (They're also pet friendly.) They are now open all week and expanding with many fun new additions coming soon! Our only regret is that the wings are so good that they run out too fast!

Absolutely loved this place. Meat was tender and juicy! Shady private spot for lunch off the interstate about 2 miles. I had 3 little dogs also. Worked out perfect. Even a gas station on the corner. Food fuel and back on the road.
